One material as concept
The project’s defining gesture is the consistent use of a single material. Alder wood slats run seamlessly across walls, ceiling, and floor, forming a continuous sculptural interior. Their three-dimensional rhythm creates depth and texture as light and shadow move across the surfaces.
Scandinavian minimalism meets Japanese serenity
All technical elements are intentionally concealed to preserve the calm spatial experience. No visible screws or fixings interrupt the continuity of the material. Ventilation is integrated discreetly behind the timber slats, while lighting is subtly embedded within the architecture itself. An invisible sound system fills the room with soft ambient sound, and the sauna can be controlled remotely via app, heated and ready after a walk outdoors.
