For us, the way a space feels is a part of its function. Atmosphere, materiality, and spatial quality are integral to every project we design. Our clients’ goals and visions are shaped into places that thrive commercially, elevate spatially and connect emotionally.
Studio
MADE+ was founded in Hanover through the collaboration of Emanuel Hoffmann and Guido Becker, united by the belief that architecture is more than just a building task. It is a discipline of shaping identity. And it is at its best when creativity, experience and responsibility come together as a team.
This shared mindset forms the foundation of MADE+. The name stands for more than a practice — it represents an open network for everyone who wants to be part of a process driven by quality, collaboration and international perspectives. A common roof under which specialists, clients and creators meet.
With Jonas Renström, Scandinavian design expertise and international experience became part of the studio. The long friendship began in 2002 during the early years of study in Berlin. The first projects together led to the establishment of the Stockholm office. Today, MADE+ connects two cities, two countries and two enriching design cultures. This diversity strengthens us and benefits every project.
Every new commission, every collaboration adds another chapter to this evolving story.
Sustainability is a big word. We give it substance.
For us, building sustainably is about responsibility, longevity and quality.
No buzzwords, but principles we practice.
Our aim is to create architecture that lasts because it’s understood and appreciated. Economically, ecologically and emotionally.
adapted unadapted
We design architecture that adapts – without adapting. With place, people and scale in focus, our projects are rooted in their context while carrying a confident character of their own.Our work blends in and stands out. It honors what exists and creates what’s missing.
Be adapted unadapted.
